Description

This soap is made with organic extra virgin olive oil from the groves of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) Σταύρος Νιάρχος and it is enriched with bentonite clay for its soothing properties from the island of Milos. Bentonite clay is a 100% natural mineral, with exfoliating, cleansing and abrasive properties. It is a combination of montmorillonite and volcanic ash, which works as a revitalizing, exfoliating and blood circulation stimulant.

Our bentonite soap is rich in olive oil with a small addition of castor oil and coconut oil to enhance lather and a sensation of cleanliness to the skin. Suitable for sensitive skin.

It does not contain aromatic or colouring ingredients,it is a great choice for sensitive skin with allergic tendencies and also for children. It can be used on the body, hair and face.

The traditional method of natural handmade soap is a product with a relatively high alkalinity (pH about 8). This means it takes a period of adjustment of the scalp having a natural pH of around 5 to see shiny and silky hair. This period is usually 10 days of use. Using 10% apple cider which restores the pH, helps a lot. After the adaptation period, it is not necessary to continue the use. You can have the same effect by using a hair conditioner at the end of the wash.
